Richmond has announced a new three-year deal with sports management company Elite Sports Properties to host a number of key events for the Tigers, primarily at Punt Rd Oval.
The deal will include a number of events during grand final week, plus a grand final day function at Punt Rd Oval.
Richmond chief executive Ian Campbell indicated that the new agreement would be beneficial to both parties.
“As one of Australia’s leading sports management companies, ESP brings an intimate knowledge of the industry coupled with first rate event management,” Campbell said.
“This alliance will give our supporters the best possible experience with Richmond events while, at the same time, delivering a substantial benefit to the club’s bottom line.”
“We have been working hard to leverage the fantastic asset and club icon that is Punt Rd Oval, and we look forward to working with ESP and the AFL on what is the biggest week in the nation’s number one sporting code.”
The agreement includes a Richmond family day on the Sunday after the grand final.
