Looks like a smock you'd wear in grade 3 art and craft class.

I like it and it makes sense to have a light colour for pre-season training which takes place in summer. :D

Looks like the Tigers are trying to support the Melbourne Tigers with the border stripes like that. It looks like a bloody basketball top.

i'm not a fan of the mascot on the guernsey never was, never will be. whenever I see the roos, bulldogs or the pies take to the field with it, i cringe and thank the lord it isn't the tigers. i'd prefer the tiges replace the sponsors badge with the club emblem though.

i've posted this on the main forum but i'll replicate it here as well, it relates a bit. its a bit down the track & hypothetical but once the afl does away with the 'white shorts away' rule and implements match-day rules to avoid playing kit clashes (its inevitable) how many of you would like to see the club adopt the white shorts permanently in the standard home playing strip. i see 3 very good reasons we why should:

1 - before the 1924 season when the 'white shorts away' rule was introduced, richmond wore white shorts with its black with yellow sash guernsey, & yellow & black socks. it was the original tigers vfl strip.

2 - many dark clubs will probably hang onto their dark shorts - collingwood, st kilda & melbourne always wore dark shorts prior to 1924. carlton & essendon wore white shorts like us, but i suspect that they'll want to hang onto the dark (carlton to keep the navy blue theme, essendon due to the general consensus amongst the club's fans that they prefer the black - i'm assuming they'll want to keep dark). it is a good way for the club to differentiate us from them, particularly essendon (like when we removed the sash of the back of the guernsey.

3 & very importantly - eight of richmond's ten premierships were won in the white shorts. Only '34 & '80 were won wearing the black shorts. it is historically much part of the success of the club, more so than black.
