Just returned from seeing "Cold Mountain" which started here Christmas day. Enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Fine performances by Jude Law and Nicole Kidman, though Renee Zellweger outshone both IMO.
I have now seen all five Golden Globe nominated Dramas and would have to choose "LOTR - The Return of the King" as my favourite. (Kinda predictable, I guess. ;)) I still like Sean Penn's performance in "Mystic River' for Best Actor. Not sure about Best Actress. I haven't seen the performances of some of the contenders.
