I was having a coffee in Bridge Rd, Richmond, on Saturday. Sitting at a table behind me, was none other than Danny Frawley. He was talking in whispered tones to someone whom I didn't get a chance to see closely (I didn't dare turn around, otherwise they would know I was eavesdropping).
The gist of their conversation was that:
- Frawley wanted to run Richmond into the ground and make them cellar dwellers for the next 5-6 years;
- Frawley humiliated the players on purpose after Nathan Burke's final game, by making them stay on the ground for ages to witness the lap of honour, etc;
- Frawley has always hated Richmond and is working very hard on making sure they lose every game possible...
- One notable quote: "every time I hear that bloody Richmond song I want to puke"
hahahahahahah
sucked in you losers
Yellow stripe? That's the mark of a COWARD you losers
The yellow stripe down someone's back...
You losers
Oh, we're from Tigerland
A coach's graveyard, We're from Tigerland
And in fair weather, then our coach will wear a grin
But when we need a win,
We're right behind him, 'cos we find the knives go further in
Oh, we're from Tigerland;
We never sack 'em till our finals hopes are gone
Unlike the Tigers of Old,
It's twenty years in the cold,
Oh we're from Tiger (Coach watch your back)
Oh we're from Tigerland !!!!
