when the Aussies are pitching up in England as I need to get my eggs rotting in preparation for giving Glenn McGrath a good pommie welcome at Heathrow airport.

On the radio last night they interviewed Adam Gilchrist who said both the Australian test and one-day side are meeting in Sydney for a lunch with the PM before they fly out for the Ashes. He also mentioned that they will be stopping off in Galipolli (Turkey) for a short tour before arriving down at Heathrow.

I'm not too sure what airline they will fly with. I'm fairly sure they flew Thai Airways on the last trip to England, but they have so many affiliates they could go with any airline linked to Ansett. DIPPER, I know secretly your a big McGrath fan, although I've got a feeling most of the attention will focus yet again on Shane Warne. Something amazing always seems to happen whenever he arrives in England.:D

Back to the question at hand...

I found this on the Baggy Green website. It was at the end of an ACB media release about Wade Seccombe's addition to the touring party. :

The Australian one-day squad departs for the UK via Gallipolli on Saturday 26 May.

It will play a maximum of seven one-day internationals against England and Pakistan in the triangular NatWest Series, starting against Pakistan in Cardiff on 9 June, with the final set to take place at Lord's on 23 June.

The five-Test Ashes series, sponsored by npower, starts at Edgbaston on 5 July, with other matches at Lord's (19 – 23 July), Trent Bridge (2 – 6 August), Headingley (16 – 20 August) & The Oval (23 – 27 August).
