Yeah, I love it too. 4 nights a week is a bit much, though.

It is a good show although I think it is Red that makes it.
Tend to think it should only be on 2 nights a week max though.

I wanted to marry Tanya Roberts 20 years ago. Her look in Beastmaster was perfect - a goddess. The fact that she was naked in a few scenes is irrelevant :D

They should have had these episodes on a few years ago, gonna take a while to catch up. I have seen the later episodes downloading them off the net and I think it gets better the next series but starts to fall down hill with almost all of them turning into partners and into more of a "relationship" show

It is a great show, but ch7 are about 3 years behind. They'll probably take it off in a few weeks when the Aus Open starts.

BTW,what ever happened to Donna's sister from the 1st season?
Is she like Richie Cunninghams brother,Chuck .Gone and never mentioned again.

Yeah but the thing is they could show it at 4am for all I care, just as long as they let Foxtel show it once CHannel 7 have run the series through. Really annoyed me watching the same series over and over and FOX8 waiting for the new ones so I just downloaded them off Kazaa.

Her sister was never mentioned again, as for Laurie she has just started to be played by another actress in the US and it's apparantly not being recieved too well, add this, the fact it must be nearing the end of the 70's in the show and Ashton will eventually want out and I can't see the show going much longer.

The episodes on ch7 are suppose to be in about 1977.
I think Ashton recently re-signed for a few years.
I would've thought it's a show that can only last 4 or 5 years. The kids will start to look to old.Malcolm In The Middle will be in a similar position in a year or so.

Did anyone see the series That 80's Show ?
It was woeful and lasted only about 10 episodes.ch7 ended up showing it at about 2pm during the september school holidays.

They also have the problem of the kids having to go away to College, they all can't stay together there

I was fairly sure it was '79, which seemed a bit silly to have a 70's show based around ...

You rarely see them at school or even talking about school.

One of the few American shows that has likable characters so even when some of the jokes fall flat you don't mind so much.

And it is pretty funny at times, not dissimilar in tone to '3rd rock from the sun' (same creative personell for both shows I believe)

Early-mid 70s would be Vietnam and Nixon and they probably wanted to avoid having to deal with all that. The Summer of Love was 1969 as well so early 70s was more hippy and the like, so the 70s disco stuff was much later. Star Wars and Saturday Night Fever were both in 77.

Kitty and Red for sure... one of the family friends is exactly like Kitty, the hair, the laugh, everything!
Hyde's a blast, and he's easy on the eyes :p

Excellent call. Not the all time funniest show but has enough cacks, characters I genuinely like and no moral lesson which is normally prevalent in US sitcoms to keep me watching.

After finishing the Sopranos series, this is my favourite show of the moment.

Anyone have any favourite burns? :)

Funny thing. I was reading this thread as the show came on and it's the new year on the show, 1977 so there you have it.
Not a bad show but not great. They have some good laughs, I don't think there's anything better on at this time slot anyway.

Don't forget the wallpaper and cloths.
Was that a male in a floral pink/purple jump suite ?

Just to help find out Fez's nationality. In a season 1 episode, he says he can speak Dutch...

Strange how Eric always calls his dad Sir. Probably a 70's thing, cos you won't see that happen these days very often...
