Someone spoke to Mariah Carey New Years' Eve and she predicted Wayne would return to Arden St sooner rather than later.
This seems to be more of an issue for non-Richmond supporters. I am so over it.
I don't think any of us are over it. Everytime some vaguely official function comes around, there is a media story about KB shunning the club, thus perpetuating the issue.
If he turned up - just once - to an official funtion, that would shut them up for good! It would also enable us all to get on with it.
From there, maybe a low-key mentoring role with some of the young kids.
I think there's something in that for everyone!

Um guys can someone please tell me what the hell happened with KB i never knew what went on so can someone tell me.
He was our coach from '87 to '91 with underwhelming success. He probably tried to go with a youth policy but didn't really have support upstairs for the idea. When his contract expired, the club failed to renew it, instead getting Yabby Jeans.
This ****ed KB off and he hasn't been back since.
I think it was more the manner of his demise - handled shoddily - rather than the fact of being sacked that is the biggest issue.
Well i'm over it - couldn't care less now what he did. If he comes back, good and fine; if not, hope he is happy with his decision.

Well he won't be on Sport 927 this year, so he may as well find himself something to do
KB is a disgrace and continues to insult the fans that cheered him on for many years. Boards and presidents come and go. But the club goes on. KB's dispute is no longer with the board that sacked him, which has long gone, but now with the club itself. The same club that gave him so much!
By continuing this childish behavior, he forces everyone, particularly the younger members, to remember him as a jilted and failed coach, rather than a player legend and part of a premiership team over may years.
He is a very little man with a very big grudge, and I hope he rots in hell.

A bit harsh with the very last comment but I agree in principle with your earlier comments. KB is being very childish with his attitude towards the club. In all my years of following footy I have never seen a bigger dummy spit than KB's. He was a great player and could possibly have been a good coach given the right circumstances but we'll never know and the lease he could do now is to put away is big dummy and give something back to the club. He is who he is because of the RFC and the least he could do is respect the clubs' supporters by giving something back.

Not true 1980 (oh and was that the year you were born? otherwise u would remember KB kicked 7 goals in that GF, a record at the time).
KB stated he will never return to RFC while any of the Board or Comittee who sacked him remained.
Now Im pretty sure there is one or two of them still there..
Not sure but the name Michael Greene springs to mind, and maybe Tony Jewell too???
I actually respect KB for sticking to his word, the way he was ousted was disgusting, he is a living legend of the club.
It is my perception that he holds no grudges against the club or supporters in general, just those involved with his sacking.
It is also my perception that he continues to love his tigers, perhaps even more than us, that is why he is so hurt.
KB ur a legend, and i look foward to u being back at the club in the near future.

Actually i was wondering why you called yourself Gimp, as the word has two commonly used meanings..
1) a person with a limp or gait, usually from an injured leg, but in your case perhaps its from a faulty gene pool.
2) It is the wire or rod that is used in the hem of female dresses to keep the shape in the dress, also used in the hem at the bottom of a curtain.

Well it's great to see the Gimp loves posting on the Richmond board. Great reading guys. Pretty good to actually sit back for a change and allow my fellow yellow and black buddies drill you from all angles. Looks like you wont be able to sit down for a week gimpy!!!! I am p issing myself laughing actually considering how silly you are to come looking for me in the richmond board and throw your weight around and not expect a hammering in return. A bit like the americans walking into baghdad with no weapons and expecting Saddam to throw them a party.
I think it's high time we ceased hostilities and tried to talk some serious footy without slanging matches, even though some of them are quite funny and keep the blood boiling.

Thanks for the clarification Rhett. We all know you're no doubt doing your best to convince your dad to come back to the club and I'm sure he'll eventually come round. I'm also sure you understand how frustrating (and somewhat embarrassing) it is for us supporters to see such a legend of the game alienate the club he bled for over something that happened so long ago during very difficult times. It leads to stupid and childish discussions like this thread as an example.
