Tim Hargreaves #22, ex-hawk, what happened to him? He only played 1 season, i think, then he's gone. Buddah made big comments 'bout him after coming from Hawthorn. He was a promising hard in and under player.

Came across in 1997 with a swap involving Aaron Lord to the Hawks. He only played a couple of seasons at Geelong, before heading off into the bush somewhere I think.
I think he plays for Yarrawonga. He won the league Best & Fairest about 2 years ago.

I can remember being in the Eureka and looking out on to the street and I saw Spinks and Hargreaves just about to have a punch on before some one stepped in.

Dude, this was one of stupidest trades ever....well, we got lordy back for starters. But Hargraves was **** and looking back at some '94 '95 tapes, lord looked very good in the middle, particuarly vs. Essendon '95 where we came back from 30-odd points down the win, and ablett kicked that famous snap from the pocket.....what a day :D

Hawthorn were absolutely ****e and Tim was in and out of the side. What Geelong ever saw in him I'll never know, but it was a very good trade for us.

Tim Hargreaves was a dead set shocker, no wonder Hawthorn are still laughing at us after that stupid trade. :o
You're kidding, Geelong easily got the good deal on that one.
At least Timmy disappeared after a few games...we had to endure Lordy for YEARS. It was like we lost a bet or something.......

Carlton were meant to be having a long look at him, either in end of 2001 or 02 PSD. Wouldn't have hurt them any if he went there!

Well, they could have stooped to #16th position in 03 ;)
