Sounds like there's going to be a story on BBC world about England cancelling the tour to Zimbabwe, live announcement i believe from Lords.

i've said it before and i'll say it again.

kill robert mugabe and so many problems are fixed.

(not saying that will solve all or most problems, once he's dead, then the decent people of zimbabwe have to start rebuilding their nation)

It's not that England wants the tour cancelled coz of the political stuff, but most likely they're afraid of being beaten coz of their recent form.

i saw on Sky News England that a statement was going to be made that the official objection this time was a moral one. when they didn't play there in the world cup, the official reason was safety, although unofficially it too was on moral grounds.

shouldn't zimbabwe be barred from international cricket until mugabe is no longer in power?

And that moral ground crap costed them the chance to qualify, when some English players at the time just say "We just wanna play cricket", and then these moral ground crap comes in, it shows how little ambition they had of winning the world cup. The Aussies went and nothing happened to them.

Well I guess you can argue that the cricketers shouldn't be punished for the crime the bloke running their country did. They just wanna play cricket.
