University High School Old Boys would have!!!
Uhh .... *sob*
UHSOB 0.2.2.
Fitzroy Reds 10.7.67.
Rough as guts they were, but as a football team ... err ... D-DOWN for you nuff-nuffs next year.

Oh ... hang on ... that was the half-time score ...
Actually it was :
UHSOB 2.3.15
Fitzroy Reds 25.10.160
... quite sad, really.

Okay, no more wanton silliness.
Quarter by quarter scores for the match :
UHSOB 0.2, 1.2, 2.3, 2.4.16
Fitzroy Reds 10.7, 20.9, 25.10, 36.11.227
My lordy wordy!
UHSOB home game, but you wouldn't have known it, Reds fans outnumbered them.
Two players kicked 6 goals each, 2 players kicked 5 goals each. Fourteen players in total scored at least one goal.
The final goal for the day came from a clever (read 'smartarsey') torp after the final siren, from 977 kilometres out.
Reds would probably have scored higher if they'd had less players on the field, the proliferation of options sometimes confused them.
Congrats, Reds. Hopefully you'll be rewarded by finally having a challenge next week.
Somehow, though, it's seeming that even THAT is doubtful.
211 point winning margin ... or 35 goals ... cor blimey.

Well it must be some sort of record, surely!
Extra note, the ground is flanked by two rugby grounds, and there were matches played there too.
After one of the rugby games had finished, the winners launched into their club song ...
... to the tune of Le Marsellaise!

Oh ... and the UHSOB reserves played in some sort of all-teal strip, as opposed to the green, brown and white traditional guernsey of the seniors.
We thrashed the reserves too, 8 goals to 2.
With two different guernseys, I suppose one could say that we beat two shades of **** out of 'em :D

Is it possible for you to go through the season undefeated ?.
If so, be weary. Kyabram did that a few years ago and they lost their two finals games and didn't get into the Grand Final, and they haven't been any good ever since.
But from what I read of the Reds, they will be a hard team to beat and I hope that i'll get down there one day.

The Reds had a great season two years ago, and were leading almost comfortably at 3/4 time in the GF, but were held goal-less and defeated in the final term.
So I think they're prepared.
Yes remember that one well Kev, at Cramer Street, against Latrobe, and the crowd was a bigun, that was in your drinkin days mate.

It's a wonder I remember it.
