As hoped, its mostly bashing Richmond, and disbelief that Crows are any good.

Of course it would be richmond bashing. They were pathetic. When your 5 goals up, and in control of a game...you really dont expect to be 5 goals down in a matter of 12/13 minutes, and you really should be able to do SOMETHING to stem the domination the crows showed in that period. As i said somewhere else...i was astounded at the quarter adelaide played..was magnifiecnt and showed they can still do that...fact is they dont do it often enough...i was also astounded that richmond did nothing to stem teh flood. The fact they did nothing just proves how soft a club they really are, and shows that this year will be no different for the tigers than any other year.

As i said...you have your opinion, ill have mine...none of us our gonna change opinons just to suit the other. I think we should agree to disagree.

Actually Macca, Richmond were rated as a top four side. Last week they were supposed to come out & show Bombers in a "blockbuster". This week they were supposed to pulverize the Crows into the ground to gain respect.

So lets have a bit of an examination of this just for a moment:

Fourteen wins would put Richmond in the top four, possibly fifth. Other posters variously had them from 4th to 7th. Now, suddenly, having gone down to Crows, they are "hopeless" and handbaggers?

Incidentally, although the third quarter was where Crows won the match, they had 9 scoring shots in that quarter. In the other three quarters Crows had 8 scoring shots, 9 shots and 9 shots. The only period of the whole game where Richmond dominated was the first 10 minutes or so.

true i did say 14/8. But if you look at my little review i said they would just hang on for a finals spot. Obviously my w/l count is off from my word review a little. I think Richmond are well known to under achieve...it seems that most years in the 90s they were in a great position at some stage during the year only to falter just before the finals. 94, 96, 98, 00. They have that knack off being able to choke before the finals and in big games. Fremantle were also rated as top 8 material as well, but i wouldnt necessarily believe any big names that rate sides before a season.

Dont get me wrong, i said crows win was good...i also said that adelaide didnt dominate for more than maybe 1 1/2 quarters. Im not too sure what we are actually arguing abuot this time round...i dont quite understand, so i think ill end this now.
