Just wondering if any of you know how ernie's going? Even though hes not a doggie anymore ill be keeping an eye on him.
I saw him from a distance when he came to watch the doggies play a game of cricket on the 18th of jan, and from what i can see he was looking good.

Looks fit and has buled up a bit. Interested in your (doggies fan) thoughts on him. Is he tough hard or an outside player with pace have seen little of him in games.
cheers:)
P.s why Ernie?

Um your would prob have to ask other bulldog supporters for an opinion about him, i would say hes a pretty good pick up for you guys, hes got some pace and goes and tries to get the ball himself, but as i said other doggies fans of the bulldog page would be able to tell you more about him.
As for his nickname :D :D the boys called him alves out on the traing track and that and when they do it sounds like els, and the bulldog boys like a bit of golf so they named him ernie as in ernie els(the golfer).
Hes got another one freddy(he wouldnt tell me and my friends why he got that one, maybe one of you could go and ask him how he got it and let me know), and ferret(dont know how he got that either nathan brown gave it to him).

Good hard running type - not a great kick, good evasive skills and linked well through the middle.
Not a match winner but good player - sorry to see him go. Was starting to play his best footy when he went down. Had a VG 2002. Likes a punt and a beer too.
Hope he goes well and his knee stands up.

I'm not a Dogs supporter but from the games I saw on Alvey, mostly in the 2002 season, he is an outsider player, with great skills and an excellent finisher. Should be a good pick-up for the Dons.

He's a good player no champion, but does a job and kicks a few goals and gets pretty excited about em too, watch for the celebrations.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Alvey play. I like the looks of him from what i have seen so far. And he is going to add some much needed pace into our midfield.
