For gods sake back off Rocco. A fit and firing Paddy Bowden would be like gold for us. That has no chance of happening if you jump on the bandwagon.

With the likes of Rawlings, Bandy, Darcy and Croft on the forward line as well, Paddy is going to be pretty hard for the opposition to match up on.
The year is set up for him and I will back him to kick 40+ goals this year.

Pat Bowden really has the oppertunity to excel this year he will get the oppositions 3rd or 4th defender which gives him a great chance to kick 30+ goals this year.

I decree the name of the Pat Bowden Fan Club to be 'the patriots' (pronounced pat-ree-it as opposed to pay-tree-it)

Can someone tell me how many goals he kicked in the intraclub?
His conversion is usually pretty good.

I only remember him kicking one, but he is a very accurate kick and I've been a fan since his first game. Unfortunately, he doesn't look as funny as Street and may find a cult following harder to come by.

I dunno bout that anja_nees i think if he plays well he will develop quite abit of a following.Dont worry bout it angi if im not fussed why should you be.I think someone being rocco wants attention drawn to him why else would someone make a thread under their own name:rolleyes:

Actually now that I think about it Westy-Boy and I have had a long standing bet about Pat. I bet him that he would kick 50 goals in a season by the end of this season I think.
Is that right WB?

You are lacking some basic Pattributes.
Bowden is soft and you're all deluded fools.
Come & join the Brian Harris Appreciation Society for some real action.
Who likes flashy forwards anyway?

Ha! Death means nothing to the BHAS - it only means that you're not available to play that week. We will get Kritter as our patron, and as Harris towers above the mere mortals other key players will plead with Rohde to stand with him.
Cook would make an excellent patron for the PBFC and mentor for Bowden.

HA! The PBFC laughs in the face of death. We wouldnt even leave the ground because of it.
Our patron is the criminally treated John Bennett star reserves full forward from the mid-80s.
Dunno about the Cook/Bowden thimg. We tried that with Jakovich and Cook and all they developed was a shared interest in pies and slow race horses.

Excellent work, stefoid in naming the misguided followers of the this worthless cult. Is a group of them therefore a "bunch"?
And let's call the members of the BHAS "Heroes" in honour of the upcoming deeds of the great man.

Pat got the better of him in a collision during our intra-club much. Just a pure strength type of thing, no malice. Pat showed apologised to him after it, all class. Care for one's team mates is a key Pattribute. Poor boy doesn't even know his own strength.

Me too.
For too long original Pat Bowden Fan Club members and the Students of Pattitude have at logger heads. I would like to apologise to all Pat Bowden fans I have offended in this thread. I think now is the time we concentrate on what's most important, Patrick Bowden.
