The 4 W's??? Has a nice ring, doesn't it? Like Weekes, Worrell and Walcott from the great West Indian cricket teams of old...
I know it's big talk early, but I have a gut feeling that these four have a big part to play at the club in the next few few years. Welsh has already shown us what he can do, and he'll only get better. The other three are oozing with talent, all having shown flashes of brilliance last year.
Season 2004 can't come soon enough!
Fair comment!
Those four, among others will make for the new Bombers. Considering we did well with our draft picks too and have Johns as well.....
Are we about to see another "Baby Bombers" performance? alla 1993.
Very good.
Reminds me of a TV broadcast of the preseason competition in about '91 or '92.
Peter Landy commenting late in the game went something like this.
And Mercuri gathers, beautifull pass to Misiti, another of the star young M's coming through at the Bombers.Misiti, long kick to half forward and here's another one--HIIRRD.

But then I don't think he meant them to be. He was just posting them as a group of W's I believe.
Plus his are mostly in the senior team unlike ours.
