Admittedly my knowledge on the technology is virtually nil, however wouldn't it show if the ball hit the hand or brushed the post?

Would this work??

It dawned on me the other day reading the main board that other clubs don't see us as being relevant anymore? Probably a harsh word more like a club others don't think about.

Now obviously this isn't the case for us supporters but does anyone else get pissed off with the lack of exposure we recieve compared to others? Even some other poorer clubs recurve better than we do!! I am talking about on talk back shows, media etc. Not only do we rarely get a mention on those fox footy talk shows but if we are it's all negative!!

I know the afl probably dislikes us and our results haven't been fantastic but does anyone else feel like we cop a raw end when it comes to exposure and maybe it's because other people/teams just don't care?? Kind of shits me.

Last year there was a general consensus, from outside, but also within the club, that we;

1) lacked a second deep forward or tall forward option. Hammer seems partly to have filled that void, but it remains a real concern.

2) lacked a quality inside mid that might fetch more ball for the runners. This has been an issue for a long time, with McClean brought in as potential solution, and Curnow. No one yet has filled the hole.

You could make a case that we lack another tall defender, but Bower seems to be doing all right so far, and was far from worst against the Saints.

My worry is that the club has known about these fairly obvious holes in the list, but hasn't been able to do much about it. Mitchell constantly going down doesnt help either. We all know how the McClean trade has turned out.

Can we take the next step without addressing these holes? Can we lure another quality insider over the trade period? Will Mitchell come good this year, or is it a write-off for him?

Bush Convicted of War Crimes in Absentia

Kuala Lumpur — It’s official; George W Bush is a war criminal.

In what is the first ever conviction of its kind anywhere in the world, the former US President and seven key members of his administration were yesterday (Fri) found guilty of war crimes.

Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld and their legal advisers Alberto Gonzales, David Addington, William Haynes, Jay Bybee and John Yoo were tried in absentia in Malaysia.

The trial held in Kuala Lumpur heard harrowing witness accounts from victims of torture who suffered at the hands of US soldiers and contractors in Iraq and Afghanistan.

They included testimony from British man Moazzam Begg, an ex-Guantanamo detainee and Iraqi woman Jameelah Abbas Hameedi who was tortured in the notorious Abu Ghraib prison.

At the end of the week-long hearing, the five-panel tribunal unanimously delivered guilty verdicts against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld and their key legal advisors who were all convicted as war criminals for torture and cruel, inhumane and degrading treatment.

Full transcripts of the charges, witness statements and other relevant material will now be sent to the Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, as well as the United Nations and the Security Council.

I found Rohan Connolly's article interesting, especially in light of comments on other threads. 14 wins to get in the eight. There's some improving to do.

I'll never write off this team but it is hard to see where the other 10 wins will come from given the teams we play for the remainder of the season.

It all starts round 8 I guess.
