That time of the year again with preseason about to start. Spoke to someone who follows the league pretty closely and these are the so called rumoured changes:

Moyston:
Ins: Fiscalini (ararat), cronin (Tatyoon), Butler (Ararat)
Outs: Rae (Skipton) Lockyear (Skipton) Butler (Skipton) Hamilton (Swifts) Jackson (Retirement) McLoughlan (Retirement)

Rovers:
Ins: Full Forward (Geelong) Ruckman (Sebas) Byrne (Rovers)
Outs: Cahir (Retirement) Lodge (Great Western) Marshall (Swifts) Loader (Retirement)

Taty:
Ins: Sambell (NSW) Bird (North Ballarat)
Outs: Cronin (MW) Graham (Castlemaine) Ward (Retirement)

Bolac:
Ins: ????
Outs: Keilor, Duncan (Omitted) Otto (Unsure)

Penshurst:
Ins: Uebergang (Qld)
Outs: ????

Hawksdale:
Ins: Gleeson (Warrnambool) Richardson (Returning)
Outs: ?????

Glen:
Ins: Coach is a recruit as didnt really play last season?
Outs: ????

Caramut:
Ins:????
OUts: Full back gone to stawell swifts

Ararat:
Ins: Stasse (Lexton) Wemyss (Carnham) Brown (Bungaree)
Outs: Walton (Stawell)?

Woorndoo: Who cares

Lismore:
Ins: New coach from Geelong???

*Stasse and Wymess 2 very good inclusions at Eagles. Brown will add to spine. Still trying to secure some more players. Not sure of any leaving.
*Rovers have Nick Byrne returning, fwd from Geelong and a ruckman from Sebastopol. Some senior uni students finished their studies and some players undecided. L Marshall to Stawell Swifts. Possibility of a few retirements in S Davidson, J Liston, Loader, Robertson and J Cahir.
*Moyston have a couple to Skipton and L Hamilton to Stawell Swifts.

Gee Hawesdale will get a big lift with Richardson returning he should bolster the reserves:rolleyes::eek::D

I know where a bush league but surly 8 weeks out from 1st game the league could get there act together and release a draw???
 
So the current news in the MDFL be it rumour or fact:

  • Caramut losing up to 4 senior players to Dennington
  • Lake Bolac cleared Duncan but rejected Keilor maybe they have chaged there mind after kicking him out??
  • Couple of Bolac kids heading to Beaufort
  • Nick Taylor from Taty to Eagles
  • Great Western signed handy ruckman
  • SMW Rovers looking goods for next year: Marshall not leabing? and Cahir not retiring plus new FF and Ruck
  • Very quite on Glen front
  • Penshurst wil improve new ass coach a gun
  • Big Roche from Hawksdale leaving to Panmure

they are kind of pushing it wonder what the hold up is? the season will upon us before we even know it MDFL will be the last league to get their draw released the rate its going .

S.Whelan & Brad Wallace both moved home so wont be at bolac in 2012

I'm tipping tatyoon rovers hawkesdale penshurst glenthompson top 5. Moysten to just miss out. If the full forward from rovers is any good I'd give them every chance to take home the cup. Aiden bell leaving tatyoon is s big loss for them but if they can sign nicholson from Gordon he is a handy target for them.

Irving, Matthew still Pending he comes from terang I think was the senior coach

so whats news around the league? ins and out? have any clubs played any practice matches?
anyone got any bold predictions for the year?
