Fleetwood Mac being taken to tripped out psychedelic highs - wait for the guitars to kick in around the 4:20 mark - it just takes off.

Good find Baz. A Smithereens track I hadn't heard before.

Thanks Toes, got you and TOD (and Basia III) to thank for putting me on to the Smithereens, they weren't really on my radar before.

Loving 11, especially "a girl like you" and "blues before and after" which have been on repeat and LOUD today in the work vehicle.

Not a bad effort from a couple of Aussie lads....

and if you listen very closely you can almost understand every word James Reyne sings:)

Australian music lost a true gentleman this week, the great Jimmy Little. A champion of Indigenous issues, a quietly spoken, humble man who had early musical success and found a whole new fan base in his later years.

This may not be "better" than the original, but it is an obvious mark of respect when the band and writers of the original perform as backing artists on the cover version.....

And as much as I am a massive Paul Kelly fan, I do believe this cover IS better than the original.

gone from youtube so here's a link to the audio only

Great call on Jimmy Little, a great humble man with a magnificent voice. A sad loss of a magnificent Australian.

Here's his take on an Ed Kuepper classic - Jimmy takes it to another level.

Of course covering Boney Ms - "Rasputin"

Finnish Folk Metal band if you're wondering about the face paint and furs. Saw them live at Soundwave, they were brilliant, song has about 10x more impact live as well, everyone gets into it.

And electric violin? Awesome
