Wow. I don't know if I've mentioned before but whenever I see your stats work on the site it consistently blows me away. There's other such endorsements on this page, so I know I'm not the only one, but I feel obliged to add to them. Kudos!

Nice quote in your signature. Did you write that or is it from somewhere else?

I seem to call you into threads a fair bit mate, so i just wanted to take a few seconds to say how much I appreciate your posts and website and obviously the significant amount of time you've spent over the years to catalogue this glorious game. It certainly doesn't go unnoticed and hopefully one day you'll get the recognition you deserve. Mate, if I had my way you'd be up for Australian of the Year.

You are quite possibly the most exceptional statistician I have ever seen. Thank you for your absolutely immense contributions to the AFL and BigFooty, you have no idea how much I love them.

Hey! You probably don't know who I am, but I really like your posting on this site. Keep the stats coming as it makes for some interesting reading.

The AFL along with its history and records is a continuous competition from 1897. Our indigenous game, Australian Football has never, ever had "rules" as part of its official name - the "rules" tag is a disparaging 19th century construct of the press in the rugby hold-out colonies of NSW and QLD. There is no such thing as the "minor premiership" in the AFL nor has there been for over a century.
