I think this piece captures the gravitas and ruthlessness of the series perfectly. Have not once skipped it whenever I've sat down to watch an ep, something I cannot say about any other TV show I've ever watched.

Got stuck in my head for the first few days I started watching the series.

This is an awesome theme...must be listened to on hi fi speakers or headphones...

Unfortunately it is not loud enough to use as a ring tone unlike GoT or SOA or Sopranos that I have all used.

Anyway, I think Cheers would be considered the best one off all so far. I also like Growing Pains (Particularly with Dusty Springfield doing female vocals) and Different Strokes.

Alan Thicke [father of Robin] played Jason Seaver in Growin Pains.He also wrote and sang the theme song for Different Strokes.
