Was well up tonight on 888 then finished well down.

Just can't maintain it Online like I do IRL.

No idea why....Well I sorta do...

you're online sessions probably have 10x as many hands, so theres a lot greater opportunity to punt off some cash compared to live where really each individual session is dependent on coolers etc

If you have a 500bb stack at a live table and hang around for another 2 hours, you're only going to see about 60 hands. So from an online perspective, when you have a massive stack if you were to log off 60 hands later, you'll almost never punt it off.

And this my friends, is why i'm deleting Stars on my computer: (to stop the temptation ;) ) Beats happen, but geez, first time i've played online in about 3 weeks and this is what i get? o_O

"Pretty safe flop" i said to myself after it hit "unless a 4 comes on the turn......." then i knew it was over. Called the 3 or 8 was looking for the curved numbers and BAM. Thanks for coming. I got dealt about 10 hands in total after late regging using the last of my monies

I'll be back later in the year once i've studied some more and try to get my head around this damn variance. I just can't beat it!

Not the best start to sunday session in the Kick Off

stuck on a table in the warmup with Galfond and Timex

1 tabling, couldnt be bothered staying up for a full session so stopped regging but have been 1 tabling the warm up with a short stack for a while now, so kind of annoying considering tournys I wouldve played have opened and closed reg already

this is torture, got it in really bad twice and got there to get upto around 30bb, then both times got some premo pairs preflop and terrible runouts to give it back

back to 10bb again

Is Timex Timoshenko?

The river can be both a kind and cruel mistress

Yes that is true. But can anyone give me a site that is a good resource for online poker tips I know you just can't control some things but surely you can control a trend... I just lucked out again.

The forum two plus two is a good source for reading up and discussing all things poker, from strategy to things happening in the poker world

Other training sites are around, but if you go to two plus two you can branch out from there

Or of course you can ask questions here, I'm sure we've got an answer or advice that'll help

Thanks had a decent read of two plus two. Also noticed the freeroll ANZ pokerstars.. good way to improve without spending a cent.

Not liking when this happens though:
