Could I get a price check on David Armitage please? I'd be interested to know what opposition supporters think he is worth since there seems to be some pretty different opinions among Saints fans.

10-20. Though if I had a pick in the 6-10 range I wouldn't be against taking Armitage if he were in the draft for some reason.

This sickens me, so much talent on the one list. You could also probably make a case for pushing Nicholls up into that range as well.

I'm prepared to offer the RFC for a low price of a bag of Twisties (cheese flavor) and a can of red bull.

High asking price, don't think there will be any takers.

Martin was up for grabs last year and got no interest based on his wage demands and off-field baggage. Nobody's questioning that he's a gun on the ground but any club giving away a top 10 pick for him would be very, very silly.

As for Deledio why would you want a flashy but inconsistent player who disappears at big moments? He'll also be 28 early next season so could well only have 2-3 more good years in him. Any club with a decent development system would back themselves in every time to get more from their top 10 pick than that.

You couldn't be more wrong. Martin was never up for grabs. He was going to GWS or re-signing with Richmond. As he wanted to be closer to his dad, who lived in Sydney. Shane his dad, ended up moving down to Melbourne.

Done! and ill trow in a 4th rounder!!

Done! and you give me a 1st rounder and my 4th rounder back!

Walker just re-signed for 3 years. Indicating neither he or the club have any plans of parting ways. Whether that is the right or wrong move for Carlton for the future is another story. But he was an unrestricted free agent so we ran the risk of losing him for nothing.

Throwing in a 4th rounder is the equivalent of saying "Here! I had most of these chips but there are some down the bottom! I mean they're a bit soggy now, and most of the sauce is gone, but they're still good!'

Jeez, tough ask. Trying to take age into account with some of these...

Of this list, I would say that the following would not be traded for draft picks unless another club massively overrated their value:

Judd, Murphy, Gibbs, Kreuzer, Waite, Jamison, Thornton, Bower, Yarran, Walker, Fevola

These threads are great for exposing bias fans, reckon all fans are bias but the worst will be Carlton and Essendon.

Simon Prestigiacomo

Rest of the list not worth mentioning.

I highly doubt any club would trade away pick 1 these days, even picks 2 and 3. Theres probably only a couple of players in the league that would be worth pick 1.
Riewoldt and Ablett.
Anyone who thinks otherwise is crazy.

The days of trading away priority picks is pretty much over

Glad this guy wasn't our list manager.

That seems fair.

Cotchin, Riewoldt and Martin in the 1-3 range.

Astbury and Vickery too high.
I guess.. around that 3-6 mark...

I see Vickery and Astbury around that 20 mark... could go for a bit later i guess to the high 20s low 30s.. both are young KPP.. I know Vickery cops a bit but he has shown a fair bit in the past.. Astbury was one of the better FB in the comp before he got injured..

That seems fair.

Quite fair, except that if you gave us pick 28 for Hampson then Maric has to be worth at least a top 20. Would also have Cotchin in the 1-3 category.

With Maric's injury concerns dont know if he will fetch a higher pick.. isn't young as well.. pick 20-25 seems fair..
yeah I guess Cotch would be around that 3-6 mark...
