Great career for a guy with limited skills but a big heart.
We get any future push up king's since he got to 100 games!
Not to look too far ahead but if the retirement is effective immediately, does that mean we can elevate a rookie for the last few games? Darrou for example?
RICHMOND forward and AFL bad boy Jake King has announced his retirement.
The 30-year-old has played just twice this season, stranded on Richmond's long-term injury list after foot and toe injuries.
King will finish with 107 games for the Tigers and 79 goals.
King is most well-known for his controversial association with former bikie boss Toby Mitchell, earning AFL chief executive Andrew Demetriou's wrath for inviting Mitchell into the Tigers' rooms last year.
"We've spoken about it over the last couple of days," King told a media conference on Monday.
"The foot has been too much. We tried everything we could, five or six procedures."
