Guilty Pleasure Album: Eh, I dunno, part of me feels that if you like something aesthetic, you shouldn't feel bad about liking it, yknow? That being said, I hang a bunch of s**t on Lana Del Rey, and still listen to some songs off Born To Die every now and then. Mickey Avalon is probably up there too, I'm really not sure if I like his music or put it on for the novelty - it's a grey area, really.[/QUOTE]
Exactly, who are you trying to please? There's nothing shameful about enjoying something. It's the same reason people say pop is s**t when only, really, the consumerism and culture behind pop is the only s**t thing. There's nothing bad about fluidic song writing, hooks, synthesisers, and choruses. They're like, some of the best things you'll experience.
And I find it usually runs like: "guilty pleasure: Miley. Proud pleasure: Alt J"
Seriously, probably the nicest guitar sound in years. That intro... The whole song, especially the words, sums up that album too. Always thought it was an underrated gem

Second album was a total Barry Crocker, but how can an album with a song like this be a guilty pleasure?!Guilty Pleasure Album: Right now its Best Coast Crazy for You. Is this bad enough to be guilty? Maybe not. But I don't go out of my way to advertise that I'm a fan (especially after their shocking second album)
