Phew, got in haha. But yeah time for an international player.

One of the best shooters in the history of the game, his life was tragically cut short just after he had proved himself as a genuine NBA star averaging 20.6 and 22.3 (13th in the league) during his only two full seasons with the Nets. He shot over 50% from the floor and 44% from 3 during his short NBA career, both ranking him insanely high amongst guards.

I was strongly considering him for my next pick actually. Was pretty great in his SacTown years.

Just need the white chocolate aka Jason Williams feeding him the ball and we'll be right gents.

I'm choosing Mr. Basketball, George Mikan. He's #29 in SLAM's top 500 all-time players! Can't believe he fell this far but he's mine now. One of the most dominant C's of all time. Averaged 23 and 13 as well as over 2 assists a game. If he played more years everyone would know about him.

Just to show you who he was, here's a quote I found online...

"In 1950, the Associated Press honored George Mikan as the best basketball player of the first half of the 20th century. Mikan was the NBA's first superstar and the soul of the league's first dynasty, the Minneapolis Lakers. New York Knicks coach Joe Lapchick called him "the Babe Ruth of basketball."

I will be changing Wilt AGAIN, to Two championships won in career, and making Mikan my All-Star game MVP.

Starting Lineup

PG - Isiah Thomas (Coached an NBA team)
SG - Clyde Drexler (Is/has been an NBA Announcer/TV Analyst)
SF - Dominique Wilkins (Born overseas)
PF - Shaquille O'Neal (Played for 4 or more teams)
C - Wilt Chamberlain (Two championships won in career)

Second Unit
PG - Tim Hardaway Sr. (Never won a league MVP)
SG - Ray Allen (Competed in a 3pt shootout)
SF - Chris Mullin (Has led the league in one aspect)
PF - Jerry Lucas (NBA 50 Greatest Players of All-Time)
C - George Mikan (NBA All-Star game MVP)

Time for my announcer/broadcaster.

Whoever you guys picked has never been this cool:

Doug Collins

At his peak he was a fantastic shooting guard and averaged 17.9 ppg and above for 5 straight seasons (including 4 straight All-Star Games) before injuries cut his career short. He finished with averages of 17.9 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 3.3 apg.

PG - Oscar Robertson (#1 Draft Pick)

With my pick I take am taking a bit of a punt. But I want some young blood.

I'm taking Anthony Davis. 10 years from now this will be seen as a steal. He's going to be a 20/10/3 machine for the next ten years if he can stay healthy.

He's taking my Number 1 slot and I'm sliding LeBron across to two championships.

G - John Stockton (was in a 3 point shootout)
G - Reggie Miller (Is/has been an NBA Announcer/TV Analyst)
F - LeBron (Two championships)
F - Elvin Hayes (Top 50 player of all time)
C - Moses Malone (Played for 4 or more teams)

Backup
G - Tony Parker (played overseas)
G - Jeff Hornacek (coach)
F - Carmelo Anthony (Has led the league in one aspect)
F - Anthony Davis (1st pick)
C - Dikembe Mutombo (born overseas)

Spots to fill:
Won either: NBA Sportsmanship Award, All-Star Game MVP, J. Walter Kennedy Citizenship Award
Has NOT been won the NBA League MVP
