WAFL Tipping Comp 2014

Oh no! I thought I had finally got a margin and you pipped me by 3 points!

I knew it'd be a bloodbath, but not to that extent! Fancy conceding 27 goals!

I picked that margin as there were already several other tippers who picked between 30-50 points which is what I thought we'd win by. So I thought I may as well take something high in the hope that the game was a blowout.

Didn't expect us to win by 73, margin was just 23 at three quarter time.

A couple of tough rounds over the past two weeks. Round 16 saw most tipsters get one or two with a couple of upsets occurring. Kram81 scored two and got the margin in the West Perth vs Subiaco game to get the bonus point.

Round 17 was much the same with most getting one or two right thanks to Claremont upsetting Swan Districts. With the modest margins taken I decided to pick a high one and it proved to be right as Subiaco roared home against Perth getting me a bonus point with many of the other leaders getting two tips correct for the round as well.

Altogether it's still masai in front on 47 points with myself in second on 46 while greatwhiteshark and Kram81 are now tied for third place another point back.

Funny thing last week, the Claremont vs Swan Districts Colts game was played last Wednesday Night, not sure what the deal was there.

I think everyone would have been pretty nervous at three quarter time with only a couple of games set to go according to plan. However, Subiaco and Swan Districts stormed home to ensure everyone got at least three for the round with a few tipping all four games correctly. Military_man got the margin taking his tally to four of the round also.

After 18 rounds it's masai leading on 51 with greatwhiteshark and myself in second place on 49. Kram81 is still fourth on 48.

A horror round for tipping. Three of the favourites failed to get up and the Perth vs Peel game was a toss of the coin with many prepared to give the Demons one last chance. FiveStrings and Military_man were the best performed with two tips whilst hansie secured the bonus point for having the lowest losing margin since no-one picked South Fremantle to win.

Overall masai still leads on 51 points with greatwhiteshark in second with 50, myself in third on 49, Kram81 in fourth on 48 while hansie and Underdog are tied for fifth on 47 points.
