Super quick recovery! All the best legend! Has plenty of talent and can offer our AFL team so much imo.

Great news for him and for us! Hopefully he can finish the season with a flag and hit the ground running in the offseason.

Adds a huge amount to the Maggies defence at a crucial stage of the season.

Player with a lot of upside dogged by injuries. Like Colquhoun he was hitting some serious form just as he got injured. Seems to be great under pressure. Hope he can recapture his form, sadly he will be playing for his career.

Great news :thumbsu:

Wasn't someone on here pedling a rumour that he had suffered a major set back in his rehab and that his football career was over only a couple of months ago?

I heard that he had lost his passion for football and was looking to retire. Very pleased to see that this isn't the case.

So pleasing to hear that Campbell gets an opportunity again before the end of this season - well done in getting back so quickly.:D

Was a VERY VERY crucial player last year. 1st 22 player when fit imo.
Given we are stock full of defenders in the AFL side at the moment who does he push out? He doesn't perform Impey's role of fast smalls, so one of Jonas, Pittard, O'Shea or Broadbent would have to make way for him.

Glad he's back from injury, but with our list having so many small / medium defenders him and Stevenson would be fighting for a spot at the end of the year IMO (if both don't go).

Big fan. Hope he shows enough to keep his spot on the list next year, or at least to get re-rookied.

I do wonder how much defensive depth we need though? Broadbent, Pittard, O'Shea, Jonas, Logan, Impey, Stewart and Heath are all AFL standard, but do we need all of them? I think Stevenson will go, but we might also lose one of Logan (possible retirement or FA to a club like Melbourne or GWS) or Heath due to them being surplus to requirements.

Welcome back!

Bit surprised he's coming back this late in the season to be honest.

Surely the club will give him another crack next year...

...we might also lose one of Logan (possible retirement or FA to a club like Melbourne or GWS)...

Reckon just about everyone would hate to see Tommy go.

But perfectly understandable if he was gonna get a regular run elsewhere...
