His avi on Twitter is what annoys me most about Barrett for some reason, makes him look like a pretentious, psuedo-intellect, running around as a footy journo.

He is a bit precious as well, think he's blocked more trolls then any other footy reporter, bar Ralphy.

Is that the glasses frame one? Yeah, shits me too. It's like he's saying "lookie me lookie me I have glasses that must mean I'm smarter than you".
 
Just a bump...Barrett's anti-Melbourne agenda.

Now I know we've been down and out for awhile...but the way he talks about the club is nowhere near neutral by any stretch.

He's the only person to suggest Mitch Clark won't be in red and blue next year.

His comments in the Melbourne 'wash-up' video are just stupid. Talks about Dom Tyson only having 'one good year' but then in the next breath says Josh Kelly is going to be a superstar...well Tyson could be too. Then when it comes to Nathan Jones he talks about Jones having 'played through adversity'. When challenged by Lyon about what this adversity was Barrett replies: "He plays for Melbourne!"

It's just disgusting, shithouse barracking from a numbskull and the fact he's one of the 'number one journos' is mind-boggling.
 
How long has Dom Tyson been around? Isn't this his second year? One good year is a pretty decent effort at this stage of his career.

The Robbo thread is an ironic thread. It is a tribute to his stupidity as well as his mannerisms, you can go in there and abuse Robbo but you have to do it in a way that makes it ironic.
If you read the the Cult Of Robbo posts, he is mercilessly sledged but it is done in a way that it appears he is a cult leader and is able to get away with it.
Understand the irony.

What's Damian Barrett got to do with Mark Robinson, except for disliking each other. This is a thread to discuss Damian Barrett. At least purple has got an elongated 15 minutes of fame in the last two years. Good for a media communications specialist.

its fine for people to wear glasses, but its those stupid large black framed glasses that people wear nowadays in an attempt to look intellectual & fashionable, that is the problem with people wearing glasses.

Of course there is nothing wrong with wearing glasses but people seem to view them differently than they do hearing aids when they are both disability aids.
