Hughes won't be there that is the point. There is just no way Smith will be preferred over him as frankly they see him as the next test captain, the more big tournaments the better.

That is even worse, South Africa A had no one. Honestly I have seen enough to say Hughes will either be a test specialist or nothing.
I'm saying try Smith or Haddin as fill in openers, or the Big Show. Trial all 3 of them.
Almost would have liked to see Richardson retained just so we could give him a genuine test in a death pressure situation
Then I doubt he's going to play any international cricket for a while.Go for it. Hughes I hope has played his last ODI match for a while. I am all for him in test cricket if his form warrants, but not in this form.

It's only the one poster
That chick looks like it would have faster feet against spin than most our batsmen.
Clarke should retire from ODIs, effective immediately.
He's the only player in the team capable of batting against spin and sadly probably our best spin option.
Clarke averages in the 30s in Asia.
He's already dancing down the pitch.
In regards to the A games, just because you haven't heard of a player, it doesn't mean they aren't any good.
I do expect that we'll bounce back with the bat against the South Africans who don't have the suffocating depth of spinners to tie our batsmen down like that, but there's still a lot of questions that haven't been answered by our side.
de Lange, Abbott, Phangiso and Hendricks were all involved in those recent games. All are around the mark in the fight for spots in the South African attack.
