Battle between Ashcroft, Breen, Edwards and Foulds.

Not a bad bunch for the 'worst' players from a list.
Pity Edwards didn't play for a Victorian team cos he was such a great player with no recognition.

Its definitely Leigh Matthews for me.

What's your point? Where did I say he wasn't a great player? This line is getting real old and is completely full of s**t. Plenty of interstate players like McLeod, Ricciuto and Dangerfield get recognition. It actually seems he didn't get much recognition from the Crows actually as he never won a B&F or any other club award.

I stand by the original comment, it's hardly blinded by Victorian or even Essendon bias as I included Garry Foulds.

I know just saying he was underrated. I reckon David Mundy would be the same really.

My top 10

Rovert Harvey
Kevin Bartlett
Simon Madden
Glenn Archer
Jason Akermanis

I'd say Archer TBH. Courage for days, but I don't rate him particularly highly as an actual footballer in that company.

He was a good footy player but I can see where you're coming from. If he wasn't as hard as he was, he probably wouldn't be a 3xAA and a Norm Smith medal winner. But he was, so he is. ;)

As for the best, I can't go past Lethal Leigh.

Just a list of who you have seen? If not then how exactly are you rating Archer over guys like Coventry, Reynolds, Murray and Nicholls?
