Just to name a few. I fully believe that if Tippett was at another club he would do a lot more though.

Geelong: Josh Caddy - I just don't see it with him, average at best.

That's because he's not yet reached 60 games whereas most of those others on your list have played over 100 games, or thereabouts. See how he's traveling after another couple of seasons under his belt.

1. James Frawley- Not even in the top 15 key defenders in the game atm. Average player, slow, big ego, poor disposal.
2. Matt Suckling- This bloke is very very average in my opinion. Has a spear of a kick but never wins one on ones and doesnt offer much other than his kicking, not a great mark, not a great reader of the play, nothing special- hype because he is in a good team with good defenders around him
3. Travis Varcoe-Cant kick, shocking decision maker, doesnt accumulate possessions, has failed in his career as a small forward and does nothing off half back- another one who seems to go unnoticed due to being in a good team throughout his career. Goes missing when the team does
4. Kurt Tippett- For someone who is being paid so much and is constantly thrown in the air as being one of the most damaging key forwards in the AFL, he rarely tears apart games of footy. Is not the type of key forward who will kicked 70+ goals in a season like he always is talked up to be, goes missing easily and rarely kicks big bags that he should be kicking more often
5. Jack Ziebell- Plays one good game every 5 or 6 weeks and everyone remembers him off those games. Was hyped up so much this year due to having good little spells up forward where he kicks goal, but realistically he is at a stage where he should be cementing himself as an A grade goal kicking midfielder who can consistently rack up 25 touches and 2 goals
6. Chris Mayne- Gone from being one of the most underrated to one of the most overrated. Think I read off someone else's post that he averages 0.6 goals per game this year and has only kicked multiple goals ONCE in a game which is not good enough for a third tall. Has dropped off dramatically on what was a very good 2013.
7. Cyril Rioli- Some may say harsh because he has been hampered by injuries, but Cyril is by far the most inconsistent player in the AFL and is a classic case of a 'highlights player'. He drifts in and out of games way too easily for someone who is regarded as the best small forward in the comp. Would have Ballantyne, Boomer, Walters, Breust and possibly Betts and Wingard all over him.
8. Stewart Crameri- Has done absolutely nothing in 2014 after switching to the bulldogs and a big money deal. Doesnt have much of a presence about him like he used to at Essendon and has no trates which a key forward should posses (strength, marking, kicking etc.)
9. Jack Darling- has never lived up the hype and praise he was given after his first year. Is still a good player but just not what he was talked up to be and don't think he will ever reach those heights. Very inconsistent and gets the 2nd or 3rd tall defender every week and is still yet to really dominate a game and kick a huge bag like his partner in crime JJK can. Talked up way too much
10. Chris Yarran- Similar to Cyril, drifts in and out of games heavily and goes on one good run where he runs end to end and kicks a goal and does nothing for the rest of the game and everyone talks him up ridiculously. Lacks intensity at the ball and game awareness as well. Would be an absolute potato if it weren't for his speed.

Or Brown who held Riewoldt in a GF.

Would take Hurley ahead of Hooker who is a good intercept player with Hurley and Carlisle/Fletcher riding shotgun.

Henderson can play that role without being talked up like he's elite because he's an Essendon tall.

Agree with everyone on this list except for Tippett. Tippett has been injured a lot and had he played every game would of kicked around 60 goals for the year.

Carlton: Dale Thomas - Not sure if he's overrated any more though, considering he is on most peoples lists in here. Regardless he is certainly not worth the type of money he is on.

Daisy is coming back from injury and needs a full pre-season. Still a quality player and lovely field kick who hit form late at half back. Money isn't an issue with Betts leaving.

GAJ is the best player in the comp but can also be over rated.

Yes Daisy is a better overall player than Betts, but Betts is much better in his role. Betts barely missed out on All-Australian while Daisy wouldn't be in the top 50 midfielders in the comp.

Don't know how you compare an all australian defender to Yarran. And Myers and Zaharakis are comfortably better than Yarran. If you wanna compare how about I compare Dennis Armfield to Jobe Watson? It was more that his reasoning for Tippett being overrated is that he is not the type of forward who kicks big bags of goals and gets 70+ for the year, but even in a season like this which has been injury affected he still would of been on track for over 60 goals had he played every game.

A bit of mayo on this post. He started sub v us as he turns the ball over under pressure. Yarren may not be able to defend but Dempsey makes horrible mistakes.
