Aside from I Sat By the Ocean don't care much for their new stuff but Songs for the Deaf is gold.

Somewhat due to my jealousy of Port Adelaide and their countdown video, but mostly because INXS are awesome.
1:30 to 2:30 is one of my favourite pieces of music ever.

In hearts wake - 'earthwalker' is getting a fair thrashing at the moment.
Looking forward to seeing them next weekend

Listening to Pantera quite a bit lately. Great band who certainly kept heavy metal alive in the 1990s. Dimebag Darrell was one of the best guitarists ever.

This song I reckon is one of their best of their first major successful album Cowboys From Hell (1990)

Pantera - Cemetery Gates

This song also I think is great. Great guitar solo from Dime in this one considered one of the best in heavy metal.

Pantera - Floods (The Great Southern Trendkill 1996)

How's the band going timtamWB ? Anything to share on here yet? ;)
You guys don't deserve to hear it ;)

At the moment we're recording an album, like I was saying to immortalmike the other day once we get a track done I'll post it up here so you guys can all listen to it and be amazed at how beautiful and touching it is.

And you should all make a pilgrimage to the Espy next month to come see us play live :p

timtamWB do you know James Arthur? He won the UK X Factor a couple years back and Youtube has directed me to a bit of his own stuff. I'm liking it. Lyrics are deep and his voice is great.

That's an acoustic version of one of his songs. Original is decent too but think this version suits the song and his voice better.

I have actually heard of him before, haven't heard this song though. I do like it, but there's nothing that really stands out to me. It's a nice song, his voice is damn good and the lyrics actually paint a very interesting picture and his lyricism is different to a lot of others, but nothing really stands out to me.

Who I've been listening to a bit recently is Blonde Redhead. A bit of crap in there, but a fair bit of good stuff. But some of their stuff is really good. I found them after they played this song on Rick and Morty (100 years Rick and Morty forever and ever rickandmorty.com)

I know what you mean, haha. Love his voice though; while I'm generally not a fan of a lot of commercial music, those "commercialised soul" voices (if that makes any sense at all) really get me.

Funnily enough, that's actually a little bit too far on the weird side for me. :p Not a fan at all to be honest. Cool little song, just a bit too far into the indie category for my taste.

My favourite version of my favourite song, particularly that bit when The Edge descends into awesomeness from 3:45.

Adore this song. Great version.

I have a kind of morbid fascination for a cappella covers of mainstream songs. They're constantly awful and rarely pleasant to listen to, but I like seeing what the artists do with the song.

I reckon they've done a damn good job with the arrangement of this one. Don't really like it, but the arrangement itself is fantastic.

Have flogged these Fox Uninvited acoustic versions over the past couple of nights.

Yesterday I was listening to songs from 1967 on YouTube. I noticed this one had 1954 'likes'. Then the next one, Dandelion, had a number of likes also ending in 54. Chances of two songs having number of likes ending in 54 = 100x100:1 ..... x chance of any song having 1954 likes = mind blown
