Lachie Ferguson is heading overseas and unlikely to play any VFL football. Disappointing news for eth-dog's main man. A second top line year may have given him a shot at a rookie listing.

In other news, Tom Humphrey, Adrian Indovino and Charlie Haley are training with the Pies VFL squad at the moment.

Yeah, he told me that. He said he talked to the Collingwood recruiters and others and all said he was too small.

Those three could make it. Charlie especially if he gets his attitude right. Ridiculous amounts of talent. Indo probably the most likely of the 3.

Also hearing some rumblings (only rumours) at this stage, that we are heading towards a big name signing for our VFL squad.
(no names as yet, but we are in the market for someone - reconfirming the Jordan Lisle rumours perhaps)
McLean a possibility?

According to Paul Amy, former Bendigo Gold player Liam Byrne is set to play with us in 2015.
Any good? Where does he play?

Another big (literally) blow for Frankston Dolphins with Scott Simpson signing at cash strapped Somerville F.C in the MPNFL

That is now Simpson, Lourey gone and expecting Cavarra, Taylor as draftees.

Interesting times for the financially struggling Frankston Dolphins

Shane Valenti, former Liston Trophy winner is now with Noble Park. Loading up on a flag tilt, hopefully they've got the kids coming through.

They had 30 players plus leave last year, 19's were shithouse and reserves weren't much either.

*, why do they always get the players?

We still need a 2nd key forward and another ruckman, unless Pears/Steinberg is playing forward. Rough reserves 22 next year right now would be:

Gwilt - Freezer - Toy
Edwards - Pears - Ashby
J Merrett - Aylett - Dalgleish
O'Brien - Steinberg - Kavanagh
Tipungwuti - Kefford - McKenna
Tagliabue - Hams - Melksham
Browne - Kommer - Wright - Cockatoo - Payne

Jordan Schroder, perhaps?

Should he not get picked up by a club in the impending drafts, Schroder is likely to sign on to play for Essendon's VFL side next year.

Even if a VFL stint eventuates, Schroder will use his time at the lower level in an attempt to re-launch his AFL career.

Would love if that eventuated fodzilla.

Out: Duscher, M.Ambrose

In: Marigliani, (Schroder)

Would love a key position (forward) to help out Kefferd/draftee.
The one that springs to mind would be Mitch Brown from Geelong if he doesn't get redrafted. 21 goals in the VFL last year when playing back at times during the year as well.
