Plibersek - Opposition arse clown

Clean, white Aussies wash their hands and have toilets, after all. We also don’t pick up dead animals off the side of the road and eat them, we tend to understand basic rules of hygiene (including not sh***ing in the water we drink) and we don’t always kill everyone that doesn’t share our political views. I’m content to let the rocket scientists of West Africa deal with this themselves, unburdened by the cruel hand of white racism and colonialism that so upsets them and holds them back.

But that's only because we have nanny-state government intervention and over-regulation that impinges upon our freedoms and tells us where we can and can't s**t.

Everyone is focusing on the wrong issue..the exit strategy.

How about focusing on the issue that 1.4 million people will be victims of ebola in the coming weeks. Worry about those people and not about political expediency.

So your position is purely humanitarian and not political? I'm sure it is so you can replace Ebola with ISIS and you agree with boots on the ground.

Yep.

Save lives. The best (and only) approach in this situation.

I note the comments about exit strategies and what not. If the Poms think the way to go about that is to have them treated on location, then we should have no problems whatsoever.

Do you think you just caught Pazza out with some hypocrisy? As ignored by one of the far right shills on here quite a few pages back, there is far less risk in going to an Ebola infected zone than there is in going to fight ISIS. And most people still agree we should fight ISIS. Despite the lack of exit strategy (you can probably strikethrough that 'exit').
Can we talk about Plibersek? Surely theres loads to talk about, shes the gift who keeps on giving. A talentless time server who expects to be thrown lots of goodies because she’s female.... Her latest pathetic insistence on sending our doctors and nurses into a third world ebola hell with no plan to extricate them if they become ill is pinkbats on crack cocaine, and typical of the woman.
If there's loads to talk about, and we were already talking about Ebola, then why did you immediately talk about Ebola?

What water do you sh*t into? Ever swim at the beach? You sh*tting racist.

Speaking of which, how is this guy dodging the mods?
I wouldn't be surprised if the powers that be (or those that matter) are hoping that Ebola wipes out most of Africa.

One could just imagine a balatron like Plibersek coming up with a government advertising campaign on the topic.

Assuming she mastered breathing and walking at the same time.

Pair her with Chris Pyne. Parliament and every Australian would be the winner.

It was a genuine statement. There has been a lot of talk from abroad about overpopulation over the last 10 years.

Thank for the label as an extreme right winger when you don't know me, i actually classify my politics as being left of centre.

I'm not sure why everyone rushed in to like this post. If louis classifies himself as left of centre then some of the posters on here are positively batshit.

Apart from the fact that you used solidarity in a sentence in this thread, can you tell me one thing that would classify your politics as left of centre?

See your point, dont worry i have asked for the moderators to block me from posting in the SRP Forum so you dont have to hear from me again and you can thank Riseupaustralia aswell for driving me off the forum because i can't deal with hyper aggression and a vibe of hatred to those who don't agree with his world outlook. Good luck with a forum where you have a poster running amok. Ps i just got a like in my inbox from Riseup for leaving the forum just awhile back, could you thank him as he really is too kind to note my leaving.

This is one person that should be made into a drone. Everything she does is scripted to the party line. I swear Plibersek was raised from birth to serve the ALP.

Gives politicians a bad name. If Tony Abbott had sent a team of specialists to Africa, Plibersek would of been condemning him for putting Australia at risk. Except in that case she'd be right.
She's just spent six years in Government listening to Dr. No oppose everything that was suggested. Perhaps she took note of the Liberal mentality in Opposition and learnt from it? Given you both claim the Libs are so bloody perfect, you should be praising her for adopting their philosophies.

How nice it would be if Opposition Governments (from both sides) saw a good idea and agreed with it for the betterment of the country, rather than oppose it simply because the other side thought of it first.

Most things done by government that are not for essential services are a waste of taxpayers money. It is the equivalent to stealing.

Not sure what you are saying.
Is Plibersek not right in raising the issue of lack of support that Australia is giving?
Ebola not our (Australia's) concern?
UK should be commended by sending over 200 personnel to build facilities and deliver training, over 100 million pounds in aid. Compare that with the puny $18Mil Australia has given.
Organisations like the Red Cross should be commended as well.
I am glad that she is fighting for more.

Hey Herp derp

Don't you believe the rest of the world can solve this epidemic without our imput?

I'm pretty sure that if the ebola outbreak originated here in Australia, you would be stamping your feet and screaming at clouds if the USA just conveniently ignored us.

See, the general idea held by "the rest of the world" is stop this epidemic becoming a pandemic.

Just for you...pandemics are bad...really, really bad.....mmkay.

No one knew about infection until scientists discovered germs & what they can do to us. Incredible but true!!!
People still dont wash their hands hence certain bugs still spread, even in our wonderful, intelligent white world.
When you dont educate, you get health issues.
If you think the bugs understand borders, then you are as silly as you sound.
Stopping the disease in West Africa will do us all a favour. Stupid to think otherwise really. But thats education for you!

Yes that what I've been saying all along. Quarrantine the joint.

If only we could all see the world in such simple terms.

By all means, please inform us of your plans for such an action.

Then tell us about your experience in West Africa.

1) Scott Morrison should be given an extension to his portfolio by implementing measures to contain the Ebola virus. His advice on TV today was very sound, saying that all incomers from Africa should be isolated and quarantined, which sounds good to me. Do you realise how devastating it would be if Australia was hit with an Ebola epidemic? It just needs one or two undiagnosed people with Ebola infecting those around them with the disease, to make its spread inevitable. Historically the outbreak of viral diseases have been traced back to one event, such as an infected ship’s arrival or one ill person, precipitating plagues that resulted in thousands of deaths.

2) Was offered a lucrative job in Guinea earlier this year (based out of London). I agonised over the offer for perhaps 1 second before refusing, there isn't a dollar amount printed that would get me there (and this was pre-Ebola)

So.. Have we finished talking about Plibersek?? Discussions appear to be about anything but her..

Give me/choose a thread title and I'll split the posts out to a new thread..
As said earlier, thread is a disgrace to arseclown threads.

This is not so for mein Brandis and his evil machinations, which shockingly don't get the outrage they deserve.

Weird all the freedom advocates don't seem to fussed with his Orwelian take on surveilance, powers to the security services and government secrecy.

They have asked for our help. Don't you think we should respond to such a request? Especially so given our resources etc. And surely in such a crucial situation the more hands on deck the better.
