Wingard took Glass on. That comment implies that he ducked out of a contest.

The only player who was at any risk of being hurt in that contest was Wingard. Stood underneath it, eyes on the ball. Glass saw an opportunity to hurt someone smaller than himself with zero risk of physical harm to himself and he took it. Simple really.

but if you look up the 'final ladder positions' of any season on a stats site, the ladder will not normally be updated post-finals
