Doesn't play bid bodied. Is only tough in a Lindsay Thomas kind of way.

Should be all over Garrett Mcdonagh. Possibly the best kicking I have ever seen from a kid, and not 20m bullshit sideways/backwards passes either. 60m tracer bullets to team mates on the run and loves a goal. Kicked a few late in the season. Should be available as a rookie too.

A medium-sized defender who has a laser-like left boot, McDonagh spent some time on the wing, but was primarily at half-back for the Knights where he could set up play with his elite kicking. Champion Data ranked the 18-year-old in the top-five for kicking efficiency - a stat even more impressive considering he was in the top-two for long kicks. McDonagh has good endurance (a beep test score in excess of 14) and also developed his ability to win the contested ball, but it's his kicking that will attract interest.

Other clubs have been a lot more ruthless than we have been, some quite reasonable players being delisted.

Liam Anthony is worth a look given our need for a big bodied inside mid. If he can find the pill his skills look adequate to me.

Imo late ND picks and rookie picks are for hbfers. This year has great hb options that we can pick up late or in the rookie draft. I hope we don't waste rookie picks this year mostly on recycled players.

What a load of bollocks. Pick up your toys, kid, and realise Brisbane won 7 games last year. They've added Beams and Christensen and lost Patfull and any meaningful draft picks this year. They have no key forwards. They're $12 million in debt.

As for us, we're respected to the level we've so far earned it. Fyfe and Mundy were both close to coming to us. Shiel wants to, next year.

Of the delisted Free Agents that will be available from tomorrow the only player I have any interest in is Hunt and even then that is only minor interest. Outside him I'd pass on the lot of them and head for the draft and just stock up on kids kids and more kids.

More outside than I had him pegged, but still averages 6.5 contested possessions per game over his career. But not what we need.

Some of these phantom drafts are interesting.

IF we get, Durdin, Drummond, McLean, ??, ??, Miles it should be an excellent draft for Tigerland IMO.
