not that I gave it much thought but must admit it never occurred to me that Halford was gay.
I hate to break it to you but Freddie Mercury was gay too.

He was bi.
The whole metal look is pretty flamboyant. Except thrash metal, where they actually just look like bogans.
Black and white???Freddy? Yeah, he had a long term female partner. Perhaps for him he liked men for sex and a 'wife' for love. I wouldn't say that makes him 'bi'. It just shows that labels like gay, straight, bi, used to describe human needs and desires in relationships can be too simplistic.
I've always thought there's something a bit sad about pasty white, skinny poms trying to pull off leather.
Angry kept it very quiet:
I preferred him hard.

They wouldn't have liked his Zoroastrianism either. On Zanzibar, Freddies birthplace, there is a restaurant/bar called Mercury's, which is probably the biggest place in town/popular tourist destination/etc.
I always thought it was amusing though, because the island is a semi autonomous Muslim state in Tanzania, and if, while alive, he ever fronted up there, he'd have been locked up for his lifestyle.
Talk about ignoring the elephant in the room.

now this poses a risk for the chinese manufacturing denizens with IP leakageYes, we all knew this, and couldn't care less, but good on him

what about Bono? * those U2 carntsNow that he's got that off his chest, maybe he can get to work on making iTunes less s**t.
Once he decided he liked men better, that relationship was purely platonic - but very strong emotionally.Freddy? Yeah, he had a long term female partner. like the Foxtel CEO Williams, was married to Kathie Lette before she hooked up with Robertson hypothetical cue sea.Once he decided he liked men better, that relationship was purely platonic - but very strong emotionally.
So being gay IS a choice? I keep hearing otherwise.Once he decided he liked men better, that relationship was purely platonic - but very strong emotionally.

NoYou really aren't very gay are you?
For some who call themselves bi-sexual - it gives them an opportunity at some point in their lives to make a choice. Freddie made that choice. So being gay IS a choice? I keep hearing otherwise.
