Mind you, the way this Test is panning out, that 43 hours could end up being 91 hours!!!!!A bit off topic from the test series. But does anyone else thinks it's strange that within the space of 43 hours after the scheduled conclusion of this test, a completely different set of players, against a completely different team, in a completely different part of the world, playing a completely different format of cricket will represent the exact same Australian team that had it handed to them by Pakistan?
What a farce...500 and change behind and our no. 4 comes in averaging 9.
This could be all over before the end of the day.
Test cricket is becoming a farce. How hard is it for an away team to win a series these days?
Mitch & co will smash the Indians here in Australia, then we'll go to England and struggle (less than 18 months after pulverising them).
Pitch making has become better. So each nation is making pitches better for the home teams. What a farce...500 and change behind and our no. 4 comes in averaging 9.

This series has illustrated how much we need Ryan Harris. I'm not suggesting he would have been the difference in this series, but he'll be more than handy in England. Not so sure we'll struggle in England
Only one Aussie I can remember that taught himself to bat on these type decks was Matt Hayden, who mastered the sweep, got forward, got his leg out of the line and filled his boots on the spinners.
Can any Australian play the sweep shot????
Doolan has been doing lots of practice in regards to slow bowling by all reports, but cant really remember if sweeping was included in that. You'd hope so. Fat lot of good it did him for this tour.
We hardly struggled in England last time, and the mental scarring from last Summer will definitely play on England's mindWhat a farce...500 and change behind and our no. 4 comes in averaging 9.
