That being said I do have a strong want for the 'Light of the Abyss' Fusion Rifle

Shards will still be used for armour. I'm actually very low on Energy after upgrading most of the legendary/exotics I have.

The weapons that really grabbed my attention are:
Oversoul Edict - arc damage pulse rifle that shoots through knight shields and does extra damage to high level Hive

Murmur - fusion rifle that allows you to switch between arc and solar damage!

Black Hammer - solar damage sniper that has a perk that refills the magazine after three successive precision shots

Hunger of Crota - solar damage rocket launcher - sounds very similar to Gallejhorn (probably won't take an exotic slot.

Hunger of Crota sounds like a reskinned Hezen Vengeance.

Gjallarhorn will still be worthy of commanding the Exotic slot (situation dependent of course).

Except Vengeance doesn't have tracking. Gjallahorn will probably still do a bit more damage but Hunger of Crota looks to be somewhere between HV and Gallajhorn (or Truth and Gjallahorn).

The beauty of Gjallarhorn isn't the tracking, it is in the homing clusters that break apart after the target hits.

If the cluster bombs are the same as Vengeance then it won't be as good. But it's a rocket launcher so it will probably have use somewhere in the game.
