Heard a whisper Sam Curran to coach Gol Gol and Darren Atkinson speaking to Bambill and Werrimul. Not sure if there is any truth or not in it but would be great pick ups for either clubs

Did hear today that bull and L mcculland have signed st Bambil with Bull to coach? Not sure about that. Can confirm Curren is coaching Golly.

On SFL site apparently Andrew Arden has signed with Merbein.
Not apparently fattyferret he is signed sealed & shortly delivered along with Hayden Pyke, both trained with Merbein last night.
Burdett has also signed with Imps.

Rightio maiat05, last I heard burdett was considering going to play with the giants in MFL as his dad is coach?

Yes very true. Quirk-Meeks to tr roos who is close to useless! The roos had there first training run last week with only 3 players! Another club that could struggle is the pies a lot of retirements and blokes moving on! Can't see anyone getting with in 20 goals of bamb$ll with the like of Atkinson, l mclelland,A davis to join a already pretty strong side! Euston in talks with merging with robinvale? Hate say but is this the end of the millewa football league?
Millewa is far from ending... If it's true with Euston then all millewa clubs that are left are based out of Mildura and only need to fill one side... Quirkmeets is on his 3rd or 4th club with a coaching roll... Useless...

Do you think there will be a time where the millewa scraps games hrld at the lake? Really there is only 1 team based there in the roos, the pies play there also but do play games down 11th st. Do you think its possible to be based between cardy nangi golly n mildura?

with Euston merging leaves Millewa with 6 wont want to lose another club if it drops below 6 end of the league
Heard from someone close to the Bombers that Euston won't have a side this season if they stay in the Millewa and not merge with Robinvale.
Very disappointing if that is the case!

Might end up alot of mergers with Sunraysia clubs down the track since they got no where else to go doubt they be competetive against Sunraysia sides losing Euston one nail in the coffin 6 is the minimum but surly in rural areas 5 would still be ok Omeo district had 4 teams once upon a time
Millewa clubs got no other smaller leagues to go to
Don't forget Mallee FL is down to five clubs, and this season likely to be the last before the league folds.
Ouyen and Walpeup - Underbool will be considering joining either Sunraysia or Millewa FL at the end of 2015 season.

where would their junior players go that would kill the clubs least with Sunraysia they can play their juniors in the sunraysia juniors League
better then Millewa fl due to lack of lower grades i been to the footy at Walpeup-Underbool & Ouyen when we use to play them
So the latest talks around the grounds is... Bambill- Atkinson, l mclelland,A davis.werrimull- 3 ransoms boys but lost 11 Top players, Euston-depleted... lost quiet a few to meringur&may or may not feild a team so 50-50 shot Smith may take em back on if they do. Meringur-d.Harris, lawson,smith,quirkmeek and Mennie,lost C.Moore and hooker to cardy. Cardy- Moore, hooker, Brett tyrell and Boehm lost a couple oldies Harris& lawson Golgol- curran coach lost a hand full of talent burdett Arden and love(but always find player to fill the holes).Nangi- I reed on 10 game contract &same list .... May be the danger side in this league this year?

Has love signed elsewhere or not playing due to his injury at golly pub?
Have heard that that Courtney Moore was going to leave to Cardy but is staying at the Roos?
Millewa football will be a one horse race this year Bambil still the one to beat but from second to sixth will be interesting.
Bambil's biggest loss is Dickason from the backline but add S Boake, L Mcclelland and Bull to an already strong list. Rossy and Hickey the other two losses from premiership team but they will be easily covered with other recruits.
Nangy will be most likely the next best, if like last year they keep the playing group fit and injury free. Same group from last year with a couple of extras that will add depth to the list but a couple of key players have ?'s over there bodies.
Werrimul is a hard one and won't really know till round one who is and is not playing. Missing there two goal kickers which will be hard to replace. Will lack midfield depth but M Thompson will be the best of the recruits ( still unsure how he will go in Millewa though)
Gol Gol is another hard one to see what they will have. Curran is a good pick up and like Bull should be a good coach and bring new players but loss of Burdett will hurt the midfield. Arden is the other loss as played his best footy last year. Gol Gol should replace these guys but no clearances in as yet. They still have good players running around so if can add 4-5 new recruits they will still be up there.
Cardy should be more competitive with adding Hooker and Tyrell ( Euston). Midfield still needs an extra two or three to run out games. Interesting to see where N Lawson will end up playing ( whoever pays him the most).
Meringur improved and should improve again. Adding a couple extra from riverland and cardross. Both Moore's back to wenty I hear and N Lawson a possibility of returning to meringur. Each year they will get better and better and were competive sometimes last year.
