Project Nevada is great if you can get it working takes a bit of stuffing around.

Can they please make a good AFL game, the two recent tries AFL Live were horrible.

So unrealistic the same 4 lines being spoken by the commentators...
Actually I suppose it is pretty realistic.

I got sent one of these from Playstation AU as a Christmas gift the other day.

Pretty much the best thing ever.

Pretty jealous

In his Casino or after the Caesar scene? I try to off him in his casino if I can
Caesar's camp all the way, I bareknuckle boxed Benny to death.

Really? Perhaps I'll look at into it if it pops up on sale again.
They should start their usual Christmas sale with the next week you'd think. I did the same thing with Arkham City. I already owned it, but picked the GOTY edition because it was cheaper than buying the DLCs. So now I have this in my library:

Really? I think that's a given. No text has ever (or ever will) have such an effect. Whatever you think of it...literatures greatest moment it almost certainly is.

By the same standard that XXXX Gold is Australia's best beer, maybe.

PC for Bethesda games. It's that simple. COD and the like(ad-nauseum frag-fests) may work well with consoles, but real games that you can actually role play a world are too complex to trust to a console. They need babying via editing
You'll get no argument from me.

Weirdly I have the same thing after I bought Arkham City GOTY a while ago - it gave me both games in my library.

Reeeeeeally need to get around to playing that actually.

You should, awesome game. I think what happened was, if I had waited an extra 3 months, I would have ended with GOTY for free anyway. I think they gave it everyone who owned the original because the normal version requires Games for Windows, and that is apparently shutting down. That is my understanding anyway. Not sure why they would keep giving people the old version for though.

Has anyone else bought the Steam version of Rise Of Nations?

Got Steam version of EU4 + all DLCs during the Black Friday specials. Awesome, awesome game,

Also got SimCity 2000 for free through EA 'on the house' sale. May still be available for free for those looking for some retro gaming.

Of course it was, even on superficial reading it is that. I also think you have not read the bible as you are mixing up Moses and Joshua.
Maybe it was the Midianites that got mixed up. The Book of Numbers was part of the bible I was forced to read at school but maybe you have not read it. ;)

I don't get the analogy.
But in me saying that the bible is the most important and impactful book (books) ever written is hardly controversial and almost impossible to refute. In terms of pure literature it is a marvel, the poetry is immense, the narrative is clearly epic and the history is enthralling...that's without the philosophy side of thing (Ecclesiastes is da bomb). Take Yaweh or whatever you want to call him out of it and it is still great literature.

Numbers is about punishment of self through lack of balls though it was the REFUSAL to fight that caused issue there. The genocide of others is in Exodus... a fair one there as the Egyptians had their chances and it's Joshua who goes on a blitzkrieg.

Anyway, it's not a literal version of the history and was never intended to be. It is a literary fable version that warns of the consequences of impropriety.

I consider killing every male child of a particular peoples genocide even if you don't.

The bible is the word of god and must be taken as the ultimate truth unless it does not suit a particular argument. That is why these types of discussions are pointless.

Success =/= Quality

True. But, see above.

I read The Lord Of The Rings at school. I think I shall become a missionary, travelling to faraway lands to rid the Earth of the scourge of Orcs.
A couple of guys I worked with were recently arguing if it was possible for Tauriel to shoot an Orc's arrow out of the air with his arrow as depicted in one of the Hobbit movies. They were arguing the various laws of physics. I stepped in and said, "guys, think about it, he's a Hobbit".

Arguments like this, and all religious arguments, are just variations on the Chewbacca Defense.

I read the books in school then listened to the audio version. The audio version has Ian Holm as Frodo - some may be aware that he plays Bilbo in the movies (and Ash in Alien). Really does make you laugh at Harry Potter.

Orcs have been displaced by Jews and have rights man.
