Wow. I'm quite surprised by this. I was pretty sure I would pick up 0 votes once I saw my name not in the top 21-60.

I love the write up.

Anyway, a bit surprising. I thought I was clear top 20 last season but came mid 20's I believe. No clue why I did so much better this season, but cheers to those who voted for me.

An interesting pick this one at #9 as Danoz is the highest rated player not to recieve top marks from anyone. Does this mean no one really rates him? Not at all as he's managed to get 518 points by being exceptionally consistent.

On field, Danoz had a pretty good season. He won the Dragons B&F, he was All SFA but it is his off-field work that get him this rating IMHO. Firstly, his stats work is exceptional. Thorough, detailed and extensive, you are never short of stats if Danoz is around - so much so I thought he was stiff to miss out on the Frankston Rover Medal.

Another area where Danoz shined was with his media work. Sure, he completely farked up his Virgin Cup Award () but on the whole, his Iron Fist Award gave recognition to our forgotten defenders, Talking Qooty was entertaining and his drive by on Gee Dub gave us all a chuckle while being 100% accurate.

He was also a regular on the SFA Podcasts - even when he wasn't actually on the podcast.

Danoz is one of those guys that I feel is a little underappreciated on here. If he was hit by a bus tomorrow there are many things in this league that wouldn't get done - I think we'd be surprised how much he does.

Well done on a great season, mate.
