Anyone got news on players who have moved clubs in the off-season?

Subiaco has picked up ex-Docker Sam Menegola and Josh Simpson looks likely to go back to the Sharks (poor guy)

Kepler Bradley is going back to the Falcons

Bristow and McDougall have retired from Subiaco

Rob Forrest has pulled the pin as well. He didn't play much League footy in the last two seasons though after doing his ACL.

Jarrod Kayler-Thomson has also retired which means Subiaco have lost four players to retirement over the off-season. Shaun Hildebrandt is only a 50-50 chance to play on in 2015 also.

Story in today's West about Dean Cadwallader considering playing ammos after not getting drafted. A few clubs including Subi, Cardies and of course the Royals are trying to change his mind.

Perth have signed Swan Districts premiership player Brett Wolfenden, who returns to the WAFL after a three-year absence.

The Demons have also gained key defender Brent Latch in a direct swap with Swans for former Docker Joel Houghton.

Swans have added two East Perth youngsters, Steven Wityk and Jackson Slater, for next season, while West Perth have recruited former West Coast rookie Callum Papertalk.

Good to see Papertalk having another crack at WAFL, hope he sticks with it.

What a soft****. He would get a lot more opportunity though playing at an unaligned club. No surprises to see Wityk and Slater move clubs either after spending most of the season in East Perth's reserves due to the alignment situation, both are definitely good enough to play league football.

Good thread idea. Few points i noticed
  • Good to see the trainee doctor Swifty back in the WAFL
  • Any news about Michael Wood (Peel, ex Docker rookie) going back to Subiaco
  • Good to see Callum Papertalk giving the WAFL another chance.
  • Is there any chance that Jacob Brennan will head back to Moss St?

Is there still a points system?. Subi seems to always have a lot of players from other clubs.

Yes, I believe it has been set at 130 points.

Seems Dean Cadwallader hasn't learned his lesson, he's tested positive for drugs again after being tested on WAFL Grand Final Day. This time though the positive test was for recreational drugs rather than performance enhancing ones. If found guilty he is risking the possibility of a life ban as this is his second positive test.
