What difference does that make? It's still a red. People are quick to jump up and down when big teams get calls in their favour. Cant ignore it the other way round

Lol. Yup - Chelski are hard done to be sure, to be sure...

But you make a good point. I'm sick of the way terrible fouls are let go because "the ball's gone out" or "he got the shot off". Jack Wilshere is out for months - and is lucky to still have a career - and the disgusting tackle laid on him buy some Man U hack was imply ignored because the play had moved on.

I reckon penalties should still stand EVEN IF the player has got a shot off. Same goes for red cards,
