Tell you what else I loved tonight - the intent that Carberry showed with the bat. Wasn't a flawless or flowing knock but he got on with it and did a good job overall. Averaging 43 with a SR of 127 - not bad!

Carberry's value this season has been underrated imo.

On another note, the Stars suck. Our bowling is fine, but our batting is shocking. Get rid of White and Quiney, open with Handscomb and sign players who don't take 20 goddamn balls to get going.

Scorchers are lucky though, not having any players taken for international duty.

Hogg, NCN, Marsh x 2 all missing for most of the tournament and we still managed enough wins for second place

I hope the final as at least 1000 tickets put aside for the members of each competing team.

Sure only a few hundred scorchers fans at most might fly in - but for those who shelled out membership money - there should be some access to the final

Sydney fans wouldn't be going - we all know they only turn up to "social nights out" where they can parade around the other Sydney set. Canberra wouldn't be flashy enough to be worth making an appearance

He's sensational. However he's an odd one to watch, The Marcus North of 20/20, Either make 35+ off 20 bowls or go for 3-4 bowls and waste 2 overs, Kind of like how North would go either for under 5 or over 90

That's a fair comparison actually. North was handier in the BB than many gave him credit for as well.
