No it isn't. It's another SA half done job.
3000 people walking around with GA tickets trying to find somewhere to sit at that game alone. The hill is a huge waste of space and potential.
The oval has the potential to be 30% bigger and better. It is what will hold our clubs growth back for the next decade. We cant get bigger if there is nowhere to grow.
If we consistently fill it, the Hill will go, but that'll be at least five, probably ten years down the track.

There's always this myth that the Oval could have a 70,000 capacity without the hill and it just isn't true.
The south stand holds 14,000. The northern end holds 6,500 (3,500 seats/3,000 on the hill). That's a 7,500 capacity difference.
If you were to replace the northern end with an exact replica of the south stand, it would hold just over 61,000.
Yes it's an increase, but let's not pretend that the capacity would increase by 15-20k people.

We will miss him, was our most important T20 player and something must be up for him to completely disappear from SA cricket.
