I think we will see him thrown around more this year. Bomber got him settled and playing continuous footy for the first half of the year then started giving him more and more instruction to attack more then threw him forward. I think he will be named back and start back but will switch a lot.

Yeah, to be clear, I don't mind in the slightest if Hurls does the switcharoo with Carlisle during games, to throw opposition match ups out. Flexibility is a good thing.

I just want his default position to be back.

As much as I'd like to see that too IMO it farks with their mindset during games. So many times have I seen players who've been swicthed up and back not know whether they're coming or going and ultimately it kills their confidence. A player HAS to know his place within the team.

Which is why you only do it when really required, not as a default.

I did lol at the suggestions that hurley is weak... he may need to drop a kg or take better control of his skin folds but wowee he is a beast of a man

I suspect Hurley could push for AA in 2015. He's ready to blossom.
Late form this year made me think that. He works well as an attacking defender looked comfortable doing so.
Though I'm happy seeing him forward too.

Only issue going forward with Carlisle and Daniher would leave us a bit short down back wouldn't it?

He's looking less footballer and more predator by the day.

Side note...familiar face poking his head up between DZ and Howlett...

He's a vital cog in a great defence but I still get frustrated by him. Has the potential to dominate games from CHB and hopefully it happens more often this year
