Fairly interesting to hear Dimma talk about Dustin's role in 2015 and say that he expects him to spend more time in the middle and be a 'contested ball king and tackle king'.

It's interesting how at the start of his career he looked a genuine bona fide inside mid but then progressed into an outside one
Contested Possession %
2010-
41.2%
2011- 40%
2012- 36.7%
2013- 28.6%
2014- 31.8%

Clearances have gone down as you'd expect as his career has progressed and bizarrely his disposal efficiency has also dropped as he's become more outside (maybe as a result of his more dinky kicks rather then really using his penetrating kicks over 50m.

Pretty interesting transition if he reverts to being an inside midfielder now given those stats, but obviously we missed out on one in the trade period and felt as though Martin was a perfect fit regardless.

Dusty's best position is being isolated one on one.... He NEVER gets beaten one on one.. his best position is forward with stints in the middle.. I'm sure Dimma knows this. Does he? :(

He put him there, isolated him and Dusty delivered.

Masterstroke.

Poor Morris cant beat Newman & Hunt for a position in the backline.
I'm afraid Morris is heading down a similar path too Grigg.
1yr great>>Next couple stagnate>>>Another role>>>>Ruck
