Despite all and sundry, the Seattle D prefer forcing the type of game that the Pats O plays. They force the short passing game whilst taking away the big play, and the D is effective against te short stuff as it becomes progressively harder closed to the red zone. But with guys like Thomas, the short stuff also becomes difficult anywhere.
Seattle haven't really given up big plays until just then so they're still playing their game.
