Definitely. Rochy United has to beat Moama in the prelim next week obviously, but if they then the granny will be on the Saturday and Sunday (March 14 and 15). Maybe play the footy somewhere else?

Pretty sure GF will be at a neutral venue, so only chance of it being at Rochy is if they lose, and even then doubtful.

Brodie has gone back to his old club Jerilderie silver he told the swans it will only be one season we will wait and see on that! the big
marking ruck/fwd along with other big names will be missed but in saying all that besty has picked up some handy replacements im
sure they will play finals what do you think mate!!

Well Swoop I magine they will be thereabouts ... too many good players not to be mate.
Certainly could, but I'd doubt it, Moama, Bamawn, Windridge would be ahead of the Rec, but yeah who knows.
Watched the Benalla Keilor game on Sat. both teams had a number of top players out but it was a good hit out for both clubs. Keilor had some very good on ballers and are a well drilled unit. Thought Smith, Warnock and Will Martiniello were all good for the Saints. Given it was their first hit out the standard was really good, after an arm wrestle in the last quarter Keilor ended up by about 3 goals.
Interesting in speaking with Mick McGuane after the game, he was very firm in his view that Pascoe Vale are not going to budge on the Sherman issue. Doesn't look good for Ky.
One thing that is sure, Benalla have the best list in the GV and are going to take some beating.

They had the best list last year but couldn't win the one that counted , do Ky have a back up plan , with only three weeks until the first game surely need to make some hard decisions .
Pretty sure Josh Vick has been taking the training at KY...not sure that he really wants to coach. Rusty McDonnell is coaching the thirds and could perhaps step up

That is potentially catastrophic in the broader sense of other recruits who have indicated their intention to play under Sherman.... Burston, Smith the ruckman and the oher bloke from Pacco ... it will be interesting what they do in relation to clearance applications.

The Kyabram appointment of Sherman is a complete shambles. These two clubs used to play a yearly practice match and had a good relationship. Before appointing Shermo they should have contacted Pacco to discuss the contract..

Surely Kyabram need to sort this out asap as its wasting people's time. Clubs are run by a lot of volunteers and this is consuming valuable family/work time.
From what I hear Pacco have kept money aside in their 2015 budget in case Shermo comes back. Now if he doesn't get cleared and decides to stay out of footy for 12 months then Pacco and Kyabram are short of a player.
I understood Kyabram to be one of the better clubs in country Victoria but this can't be doing their reputation any good.
Do Kyabram let contracted players leave after 1 year with thanks and best wishes. I don't think so!!
It sounds like it's going to the tribunal which again consumes time.. Not sure why Kyabram doesn't offer some type of payment and deduct it from Shermo's contract. Could this resolve the issue or has it gone past this??
