Well, I'm off to the States for 6 weeks and I'm going to get my hands (mouth) onto the best beers I can. :)

Had the Two Birds Bantam IPA last week.
O.K. it's nothing great but it does make for a nice change of session beer.
Alcohol content is 4.7 and makes for an easy and quite enjoyable beer.

What do others think?

It is ok but if it is under 6% or so, it's not really an American IPA.

Exactly but once you've taken the label away, it makes for quite a nice (yes nice) Australian beer.

I think the girls have done O.K. with this one, if not for any reason other than it actually tastes O.K.

Been downing the Ballast Point Sculpin......delicious.

Currently having a bottle of Ale Smith IPA.......just as good.

Big one a little later.......the Drakes Denoginizzer. Will be a beast.

So many good beers......and cheap in the States.

Probably be in Cali for the SB next year. The beer will be drunk.

Managed to get my hands on Sierra Nevada's Barrel Aged Narwhal - am excited to try it out.

Only problem is it's a 750ml bottle so need someone to share with!

Lagunitas Cappuccino Stout. Absolutely wonderful stuff.

Getting tired of all the IPA's already.
As good as they have been I need a change.

I'm liking the clearer IPA's at the moment, more tired of the darker ones which are a bit same old, same old.
